Happy Anniversary Birth Waves Midwifery!
It’s an exciting time for Birth Waves! It’s our birthday!
I’m beyond grateful for the families I’ve worked with since opening Birth Waves. Each family, each visit, each birth, and each baby hold such special places in my heart. This work is much more than a job for me. I dedicate so much time behind the scenes to ensure my clients have the best care. It’s such an honor to witness families grow and walk with them during their most vulnerable moments. I look forward to another year full of bellies, births, babies, and birthday parties!
With a new year starting, I’ve been working on some wonderful changes to improve the care I offer to the families I serve.
An official postpartum support group is in the works
The kinks have been worked out with the online shop! You can now purchase a variety of hand-blended organic herbal remedies here
The home birth midwifery package has been updated and now includes belly binding and discounted placenta encapsulation for all home birth clients who would like those offerings
Quality swag bags for clients (hopefully soon!)
Fees will be increasing as well with a new discount option for families who want to take advantage of it
The website finally got some updates and a little more personality
An office for Birth Waves may happen this year, though I’m still loving all home visits for my families

I’m also advancing plans to grow community for student midwives. There’s so much to learn and support is essential for enduring through schooling. Last year I worked with more doulas than ever, all of the families hired birth doulas! I’m hoping for a repeat of that this year and maybe some special collabs.
